About the Journal

Focus and Scope
The focus and scope of the Journal of Ethics in Higher Education (JEHE) is to answer to the request made by many faculty members from Globethics Consortium of higher education institutions, Network, Partners, Regional Programmes and participants to Globethics International Conferences to have a new space on Globethics platform for the publication of their research results in a scientific Journal.
The Journal is aimed for academic experts in ethics and education, working at the forefront of ethical thinking in global and intercultural perspective, academic integrity and the philosophy and practice of higher education.

Copyright and License
The author of the article submitted to the Publisher (Globethics Publications) of the Journal of Ethics in Higher Education, as owner of all the rights to his/her work retains the copyright but allows publication under a CC license (both digital and print versions, see section devoted to the licence above).  The author declares and certifies that the publication of the work does not infringe law, or violate rights or claims of third parties. If illustrations appear in the work, the author guarantees that he/she has the right to publish them and transfers to the Publisher this right to reproduce them under the precise Creative Commons License conditions below. 

Journal articles of Globethics Publications are published under the open Creative Commons License Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0), which guarantees the rights of licensor and allows free use and re-use to the licensees (the readers) who can: 1) Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format 2) Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material provided appropriate credit is given and similar license is used in case of such adaptations. Content should not be used for commercial purposes.

Journal of Ethics in Higher Education is committed to openness and inclusivity in scholarly publishing without author-facing charges for reading or publishing. We welcome submissions from all authors, regardless of their institutional affiliation, geographical location, or academic status. Submissions only must align with the aims and scope of the journal and meet the required quality standards once the reviewing process is completed.

Journal of Ethics in Higher Education is owned by Globethics Publications, a public institution/organisation dedicated to advancing research and scholarship. The journal’s ownership and governance structure reflect its mission to support open and accessible academic publishing. We confirm that any commercial service providers involved in our operations only deal with service-related aspects of journal publishing. All content-related aspects of publishing, such as submission, peer review, acceptance, publication frequency, and scope of the journal, are controlled by the editors / the owners of the journal.
